Hi Everyone!
Big news! We made our manufacturing order!!! A whole bunch of books will start getting made soon. For the most part, the whole process is now out of our team's hands until I get the shipment, at which point I'll immediately start fulfilling all physical orders. In the meantime, updates won't have too much to talk about. We're getting ready for a follow-up project for Koboa to get started on once this one is fulfilled and ready. I got test prints of all the stuff and it. Looks. GOOD. I'm trying to work on my photography skills to get nice pictures to show it off.
Plans and preparations for the Brazilian version of Koboa continue with our Brazil partners. We are now working on layout out a 5e version of "The Eyes of Hovchu", the introductory adventure, to get the PDF out to anyone who added the introductory adventure to their rewards once fulfillment is going on.
We've submitted the files needed to Alchemy and Shard to get VTT modules out on both those platforms. How long that'll take is up to the good people at Alchemy and Shard, but stay tuned!
Our spanish translation team is also hard at work getting the translation done. It may take a while but we'll get that done.

August 2026 Update

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the late update, was out on a family vacation. Feeling energized and ready to get this project out the door!
Exciting update, we have ordered a test print of the physical 5e book and are awaiting it getting made and shipped. After it arrives we will look it over to see if there's any modifications that need to be done, and then will order the print order!
Right now all our files are basically done, we'll hopefully not need to edit them at all. At this point we just need to wait on the manufacturing and shipping process, after which we will start fulfillment.
July 2026 update

Hi all!
We updated the PDF with bookmarks, you should be able to find it on backerkit.
Pins and dice are on their way, cloth maps are safe and sound with me, and we're finalizing the design files for standees, card deck, and gm screen. Hopefully we'll get the manufacture order done in the next couple of weeks.
PF2 conversion is underway, with a focus on converting creature stat blocks. ToV conversion is still going through an editing pass, I'm considering releasing a pre-edit-pass beta doc if y'all are wanting to see it.
We've had slower progress in the past month than we'd like. People on the team have had technical issues (computers breaking down), and I personally had some life things come up which caused a lot of anxiety and gave me very little time or mental energy to focus on this project (things are getting better though!).

Koboa June 2026 Update

Hi all!
We've been hearing from y'all what you think of the PDF and we're deeply grateful for all your feedback. We love to hear your stories of the characters you've created and the elements from the Koboa book you've integrated into your games! Keep it coming!
We've been getting the files for the physical products ready. The pins and map are ready to go into production, as are the dice. The book file is undergoing final revision and we're finishing up our files for the GM screen, reference cards, and standees.
Meanwhile the full ToV conversion is finished and undergoing an editing pass. PF2 is going a bit slower, as some snags have come up, but progress continues.
We'd love to see your thoughts on social media! feel free to tag us, we're excited to keep seeing everything you say about Koboa!

It should be available via backerkit. Please get in touch if you should have gotten it but haven't by tomorrow (not sure how long it takes to get distributed).
Please take a look, give us feedback, and consider joining the discord to share thoughts and tell us about your adventures and characters!
With this PDF released, we will now start getting our last round of pre-orders before sending numbers to our manufacturers, we're hoping we'll create a manufacturing order by the end of May. After that we just need to wait for product to get made, shipped, and then distributed/fulfilled.

Hello, Hola and Olá, my soon to be fellow-Koboans.
It's finally here. The book we spent years writing, sketching, adjusting, layouting and polishing. It's amazing to see the finished piece, but it's even more rewarding getting to deliver it to all of you.
I want to personally thank you all for the support and patience with the team and the reschedules. I went through not one, but multiple life-threatening conditions during this time, and this is one of the reasons we took so long. However, you stayed by our side, had patience and understanding, and allowed me to deliver one of the works I'm most proud of being a part of.
To celebrate, I'm offering you a PDF with a new Koboan subclass, the Way of The Chancla Master Monk. It's an homage to our latinidad and a fun addition to the amazing player options we already have in the book.
You could say I'm the first to release Koboa fan content with this one. Can't wait to see what you all are gonna bring to the table too. We, for sure, will keep working hard from our side.
